
Martin Carey graduated from the school of the Worcester Art Museum and the Yale University School of Art and Architecture. He has been a full time painter since graduation and his paintings are in the collections of among others the Whitney Museum of Art, the Chicago Art Institute, the Kansas City Art Institute, the de Menil Collection and the Rose Art Museum of Brandeis University. His work is in private and corporate collections all over the world.
